Shipping & Delivery
Tracking orders
How shipping updates help customers feel informed after dispatch.
From a delivery perspective, tracking matters because it answers the customer's biggest post-purchase question: where is my order right now. The more clearly you communicate that, the fewer support messages you will receive.
If you use a courier with tracking, share the reference as soon as the parcel is dispatched. If you fulfill manually, update the order status and set expectations clearly so the customer still feels informed.
Key points
- Share dispatch updates as soon as they happen
- Provide tracking references whenever your delivery method supports them
- Use clear delivery windows if full tracking is not available
